Family adventure photoshoots are so much fun! Drumheller is especially great for kids and they always get into seeing all the dinosaurs in town, which makes the drive a little more interesting . Planning you family adventure photoshoot isn’t as difficult as you’d think. Here are some things to keep it simple and successful.
1-Bring lots of snacks, the drive is short of 2 hours. Hungry kids are never happy, so bring the entire fridge!
2- Keep the photoshoot outfit in the trunk and change them when you arrive on site. Car snacks are never clean.
3-Wear comfy shoes, the terrain is always tricky! Make sure the kids do too so you can avoid road rash and bleeding knees!
4-Have a treat planned for the kids for after the shoot. This always motivates kids and encourages good behaviour, but the key is to have the “treat” discussion in the car on the way down, well before the shoot.
5-Have fun! Kids always behave when they are having fun, laughing, playing and being silly. This will also come through as a genuine connection and authentic moment in the photos !
